Official Travel Programme

Rugby supporters wishing to visit New Zealand in 2011 will be able to purchase ticket inclusive Official Travel Packages from Officially appointed Travel Agents (OTAs).

In 2009 OTAs will be appointed throughout the world. They will be responsible for creating, marketing and selling a wide variety of ticket inclusive official travel packages. Only OTAs will have access to the Official Accommodation Bank that has been set up to ensure that supporter groups, sponsors and teams are able to secure the best available accommodation in terms of location and quality.

Only OTAs will be able to display the Rugby World Cup 2011 Official Travel Agent logo and refer to themselves as an 'Official Travel Agent of Rugby World Cup 2011, New Zealand.'

The application stage for prospective OTAs has now been closed and a list of successfully appointed OTAs will be made available on this website in October 2009. 

Official Travel Packages will go on sale to Rugby fans January 1st 2010
